Pearl Onyema

Pearl is a dual qualified lawyer with over four years international experience in corporate/commercial law and litigation. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Birmingham City University and completed her Master’s in International Business Law at the University of Manchester. Pearl was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013 and served as a senior legal officer in a government regulatory agency tasked with legislative drafting and review regarding the education sector.
Eager for new challenges, Pearl moved to British Columbia in 2018. She articled at a boutique law practice in downtown Vancouver, handling real estate, insurance and construction clams. Pearl volunteered with Access Prop Bono BC during her articles and gained a wealth of experience in landlord and tenant matters. Her practice areas include co-operative housing law, construction law, strata property law and landlord & tenant law. In her spare time, Pearl loves to write short stories and spend time with family and friends.
