Prior to joining the Haddock & Company team in November 2016, Kimberly worked abroad in Johannesburg, South Africa as a legal advisor on human rights issues. At Haddock & Co, Kimberly’s practice focuses on all aspects of strata property law, landlord and tenant law, co-operative housing law, non-profit housing law, and construction law; she is especially interested in human rights issues that arise from these practice areas. Kimberly has also appeared in the Supreme Court of British Columbia on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Kimberly graduated from the University of Toronto in 2010 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Criminology. Having always had the goal of becoming a lawyer who advocates for her clients’ rights, Kimberly attended Windsor Law. During her time in law school, Kimberly was elected as the Students’ Law Society VP Finance and received the prestigious JW Whiteside Award for her commitment to the Faculty of Law and the Windsor community. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2015 and the British Columbia Bar in November 2016.
Born and raised in Ontario, Kimberly completed her articles and practiced as an associate at a civil litigation firm in Toronto where she gained valuable experience in solving complex legal matters and settling actions. As a new resident to B.C., Kimberly hopes to explore and seek out adventures along the West Coast.
