Jonathan Ip

Lawyer

Jonathan joined Haddock & Company in the spring of 2023. His practice areas include strata property law, co-operative housing law, landlord and tenant law, and construction law. Prior to joining Haddock & Company, Jonathan practiced at a litigation firm in the area of insurance defence. Through his practice, Jonathan gained experience conducting mediations, examinations for discovery, and trial in the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia. Jonathan takes a client-centred approach to practice in understanding their issues and finding an appropriate solution.

Jonathan graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. After working for a year, he attended law school at the University of Alberta where he graduated in 2013. During law school, he volunteered with Student Legal Services and Pro Bono Students Canada. Jonathan was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2015.

During his spare time, Jonathan enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and exploring his hometown of Vancouver.
