We Listen. We Will Make A Difference.
Oscar Miklos regularly advises strata owners, strata councils, detached home owners, property managers and residential and commercial landlords and tenants in respect to their housing or property-related disputes and concerns.
Oscar provides peace of mind to his clients by resolving their issues in a straight-forward, efficient and effective manner. The satisfaction his clients express after each successful outcome or resolution is what keeps Oscar continually energized and ready to take on new challenging matters.
A graduate of McGill University’s integrated common law/civil law program, Oscar completed his articles at a large regional firm in downtown Montreal. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2013 and to the Law Society of British Columbia the following year. In 2015, Oscar joined Haddock & Company.
Having grown up in Burnaby, prior to his legal studies, Oscar graduated from Simon Fraser University’s bilingual cohort program with a major in political science and a minor in French. During his undergraduate studies, Oscar spent one academic year on exchange at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (“Sciences Po Paris”). Oscar attained the highest cumulative grade point average of all political science majors in his graduating class at SFU and was awarded the National Programme Scholarship by McGill University’s Faculty of Law for his distinguished academic record upon admission.
In addition to his practice, Oscar is the founder and editor of HousingGuide.ca, a free online reference for home owners, strata councils, residential landlords and property managers in British Columbia.
